Frontier Inn Partners with Local Businesses for Mandela Day

On 18 July, the #WinningTeams at Frontier Inn in Bethlehem resorts on their Mandela Day project for 2024. Mandela Day is the annual global celebration that takes place on 18 July to honour the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela. This day is a call to action for all individuals, communities, and organisations to take time to reflect on Mandela's values and principles and to make a positive impact in their own communities, for a minimum of 67 minutes.
As always, the #WinningTeam were out in force to help make a difference in their communities. Frontier Inn partnered with local businesses in Bethlehem to distribute food to local institutions who need assistance. The combined effort resulted in the following programmes benefitting:
- Sonskyn Dienssentrum: Frontier hosted the elderly for breakfast, Nupro Group provided them with shopping vouchers, and Rhodes donated canned food items.
- Salileni Dagsorg Sentrum: Frontier provided soup & bread rolls, spoiled the children with some sweets, and gave printing paper. Rhodes donated canned food items.
- Hlokomelang Bana Disabled Centre: Frontier donated soup & bread rolls, nappies, and treats for the children. Pristine Construction fixed and repainted their leaking roof. Rhodes donated canned food items.
- Bophelong Community Centre: Frontier donated treats for the children and winter gloves. Nupro Group provided soup & bread rolls. Rhodes donated canned food items.
- Skemervreugde Sentrum vir Bejaardes in Paul Roux: Rhodes made an ample donation of canned food items.
- Charlotte Theron Childrens Home: Rhodes made an ample donation of canned food items.
- Pathways School for children with severe disabilities in Bethlehem: Rhodes made an ample donation of canned food items.
